Jindrich Polák`s modern fairy tale comedy tells the story of a girl who unexpectedly inherits a fairground amusement - a haunted house from Vienna`s Prater fun park. With the help of a magic timepiece she is able to bring three of the ghosts to life. Followed directly by Kacenka a zase ta strasidla (1993).

This time, the eight-year-old girl must fight to keep her parents from turning the House of Horrors, which she received as a gift from her grandfather, the Viennese Czech Swoboda, into a family villa. Helping her are her old friends, with the help of a magical clockwork mannequin, the witch Bertha, the charming Elvira and Dr Caligari. She arranges for notary Weber to come from Vienna to check that the terms of the gift agreement have been kept and that the attraction is fit for purpose...

Princess Blanka (Aglaia Morávková) is secretly meeting her beloved, huntsman Ondrej (Jirí Papez). Only the chamber-maid Anezka (Jirina Bohdalová) is in favour of their love but Blanka's father, the King (Jaroslav Marvan), mustn't find out anything about it. Blanka is refusing all the bridegrooms the King has invited to the castle. The King has enough of his daughter's moodiness and shuts her up in the tower. The suitors must search for her and she is to marry the one who finds her first.

In a bleak, dystopian modern city, an agent of the underworld intersects with the lives of those lost in despair — guiding them on a surreal, transformative journey into death and beyond.

Ruta is much more than a great athlete, she is the symbol of today's Lithuania. Currently a documentary is being produced that will allow the viewers to see Ruta's daily life from up close and hopefully understand a bit more about the amount of hard work that goes into preparing for this short distance swim.
